Yuri & Malcolm’s Revolutionary Birthday Bash

Join us to celebrate the birthdays of two civil rights icons- Yuri Kochiyama and Malcolm X (May 19th 1921 and 1925, respectively)!

We are excited to partner with JACL-Chicago and Nikkei Uprising to gather in commemoration and celebration with a focus on young folks. There will be story times at 11:30am and 12:30pm as well as art making and movement opportunities for kids. And it wouldn’t be a birthday without cake.

We ask that caregivers attend with youth 14 and younger.
