Independent Bookstore Day – Chicagoland Bookstore Crawl 2025!

Restoried Bookshop is proud to join with more than 50 fellow independent bookstores in Chicagoland to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day!
We will be opening our doors early April 26th at 9:00AM. Why are we opening early? Well, for those intrepid book lovers able to visit 10 participating, independent bookstores -and get a stamp in your passport from each- you’ll receive 10% off at all participating bookstores until Independent Bookstore Day 2026! Feeling extra bold? If you make it to 15 shops, you’ll receive a 15% discount for the next year’s worth of reading joy. All that, while supporting Chicagoland’s independent booksellers and earning some bragging rights 🙂 Purchases aren’t required for a stamp- though they are appreciated <3
We will be offering some special Indie Bookstore Day swag for purchase and maybe even inviting a few friends to join us for the day.
On the day of the crawl, don’t forget to post pics of your haul using the hashtags #TEAMINDIE and #CHILOVEBOOKS and tag the bookstores you visited!
