Jim Terry – Book Reading and Conversation

Restoried Bookshop is excited to host local storyteller, artist, and author Jim Terry for an afternoon event here at the shop! Jim will be a reading from his memoir Come Home, Indio, and you should join us in conversation and community on Saturday, February 28th! We’ll be getting started at 3pm, so plan to show up a little early to choose your seat.

Copies of Come Home, Indio will be available for purchase through the shop. We’ll also be providing light snacks and beverages for folks. Help us plan for the day by booking your FREE ticket below!

About Jim:

Jim Terry is a Ho-Chunk storyteller who’s called Chicagoland home for over ten thousand years. His memoir ‘Come Home Indio’ was nominated for the LA TIME BOOKPRIZE and the IGNATZ, and his visual essay ‘Paper Cuts’ is currently being taught in several schools. He’s worked in the comics world for around fifteen years and enjoys writing prose and making weird movies.
