DESCRIPTION:**UPDATED UPDATE** \nWe have rescheduled from July 30th to August 6th. Summer had it in for us almost as bad as that mercury retrograde did. Our apologies for having to reschedule but we’re looking forward to talking with y’all on August 6th at 6:30pm here at the shop! \n**UPDATE** \nWe have a winner! We’ll be reading Pick A Color by Laotian-Canadian author Souvankham Thammavongsa! With a tie for runner-up between The Killing Spell and We Dance Upon Demons (you’ll see them back for the next ballot). \nGetting the books took longer than anticipated (working through that for the future). We have copies available in the shop for purchase or you can purchase yours through Bookshop.org if you’d like it shipped to you. We can still plan to meet on 7/30 at 6:30pm though if that feels like too much of a crunch\, we can reschedule- please fill out this When2Meet by Sunday Evening (7/19) and we’ll see what time works best for everyone! \n**Original Post** \nThat’s right- we’re putting the band back together. \n \nWe learned a few lessons along the way and are excited to bring back a book club where we can read for fun and gather with neighbors to talk about it. Or chisme. We’re also open to that. But also really here for the book. \nYou can help us choose our book for July by casting your vote here by 5pm on June 27th. It’s a ranked choice ballot\, so vote for as many as you’d like in your preferred priority. I’ll do the vote counting\, instant-runoff magic in the background and announce the winner by June 29th here and on our social media channels.
